Each month’s edition offers helpful information on upcoming trainings, important dates, product updates, and practical tips to help you better support your clients. Taking a few minutes each month to read provides you with the information to help you grow your business and strengthen your partnership with Select Health.


Member Onboarding

Thank you for guiding Select Health members to the right plan and helping them make the most of their benefits. Starting a new health plan can feel overwhelming, so here are a few quick tips you can share with your clients:

  • Create an Online Account: Members can register before or after their plan begins. Once they have an ID number and create an account, they can download ID cards, view plan documents, find in-network providers, save on prescriptions, and set communication preferences. Encourage them to log in or register on our website.
  • Choose a Primary Care Provider (PCP) & Schedule Preventive Care: Building a relationship with a PCP and getting annual checkups helps members stay healthy, manage costs, and improve their overall experience. Direct them to our Find a Doctor and Preventive Care resources for assistance. 
  • Download the Member Guide: Health plans can be complex. Our Member Guides highlight key benefits and resources. Members will receive a link to their guide this month, and most guides are also available under Plan Documents on our website.
