The Select Health Awards support organizations that:
- Address social drivers of health such as access to health care, food security and housing stability
- Improve mental well-being
- Improve chronic and avoidable health outcomes

Organizations whose services directly align with our current health priorities or address social drivers of health are given special consideration. For specific health priorities, see the list below.
Organizations with an operating budget of less than $1 million are eligible to apply for the awards. Organizations with an operating budget of more than $1 million are invited to apply for other grant opportunities at Intermountain Health. You may also provide information on other ways to support your organization, such as events, to Emily Allen at emily.allen@selecthealth.org.

Choose “Get started” under one of the states listed above. We are accepting applications from January 1 to February 28, 2026 or until 200 applications are received per state.
We accept the first 200 applications for each participating state and one application per organization.
We will identify 10 winners from Idaho, Utah, and Clark County, Nevada who will receive the $5,000 award. All applications are reviewed by a committee to determine the awardees.
Information submitted as part of the Select Health Awards application will not be retained or used for any purpose other than promoting your program or to share with other groups with a similar mission and purpose to Select Health.
Past recipients must wait two years before applying again for the awards. For example, 2023 winners will be eligible again in 2026.
Yes, the monetary award is taxable. Recipients must submit either a Federal ID number or social security number prior to payment of the award.
The winner is awarded $5,000 cash.

Completed applications are reviewed by the Select Health Awards Committee, which includes leaders from the community, Select Health employees, and representatives from our clinical partners.
The awards are offered in Utah, Clark County Nevada, and Southern Idaho. Southern Idaho includes all counties south of Idaho County.
